minimize our impact on the environment.

• Encourage our suppliers/stakeholders to accept responsibility for environmental issues
• Use and encourage sustainable fishing and other sustainable practices for natural resources
• Prevent pollution by using Risk Assessments and preventative Action
• Comply with current Waste Management Legislation
• Optimise Food Production Processes so they have minimal adverse effect on the environment
• Train and involve our partners and staff in environmental issues

The world is a big place and things that are acceptable in one country may not be in another. Whilst this is true, it is also true that we are all human and deserve a basic level of treatment whether it is here in the UK or somewhere in the Far East. We all deserve a little respect.

• We support the core principles put together by the UK Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) that brings together companies, NGO’s and Trade Unions, to ensure good working conditions wherever people are engaged in the supply of goods or services.
• We include these criteria in our selection of suppliers, especially in developing countries.
